Silhouette Instalift is a newly FDA-approved absorbable threadlift that provide instant and sustained lifting of the cheeks, lower face, jowls, and even the neck. Unlike discontinued Contour Threadlifts of the past, Silhouette Instalift is made of completely biocompatible and biodegradable molecules of glycolic acid and lactic acid. Silhouette Instalift is safe, durable, and stimulates your own collagen growth in the areas of placement.

Silhouette Instalift is an in-office procedure that is placed under local anesthesia with little to no downtime. The Instalift sutures are placed through small numbed areas of the face, and the procedure itself has little to no pain. The Silhouette Instalift procedure is extremely well-tolerated with minimal side effects, usually only a slight chance of bruising at the suture entry point. For a week after placement, patients are asked to keep facial activity, especially chewing or overexpression of the mouth to a minimum to allow proper tissue integration of the sutures.

Typically, 3-5 sutures of Instalift area placed on each side of the face. Results are FDA-cleared for 12 months, although some patients may notice longer-lasting results. Multiple sessions of Instalift may be performed for an added effect, and the Silhouette Instalift procedure may be combined with neuromodulators, injectable fillers, skin tightening procedures, or laser and light devices, although usually not during the same treatment session.
