Nose Before & After

Impart Structure, Smooth Irregularities, Improve Function, and Restore Proper Aesthetics and Proportion to the Nose

The nose is a central and characteristic feature of the face. Asymmetry, proportion, and problems with nasal function can all be valid reasons for patients to seek surgical treatment of the nose. For select individuals, nonsurgical options exist to correct irregularities traditionally treated with surgery, or a rhinoplasty.

Mild to moderate changes in nasal tip rotation, nasal deviation, nasal valve incompetence (nostrils close when inhaling), dorsal hump (irregular elevation along the ridge of the nose), asymmetry on nasal bridge, visible bony landmarks and cartilage, and deeply set nasal bridges can all be enhanced through nonsurgical means. Dr. Palm uses hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Volbella to impart structure, smooth irregularities, improve function, and restore proper aesthetics and proportion to the nose. Even small asymmetries or defects following traditional surgical nose jobs (rhinoplasty) can be corrected with correct filler placement, sometimes avoiding the need for a revision surgery.

Nonsurgical rhinoplasty or a “liquid nose job” is a very advanced filler technique and requires a specialist that appreciates proper facial and nasal anatomy. This is a higher risk procedure, and therefore Dr. Palm employs techniques to minimize complications and ensure safety during the procedure.
