Chest Rejuvenation Before & After Photos
Décolleté Improvement, Sun Damage, Pigmentation, and Skin Laxity
The female chest area is often referred to as the décolleté. This V-neck area of the chest is often neglected and the ravages of UV exposure, environmental exposure, and gravity can cause aging changes to the skin. Sun damage, pigmentation, wrinkles, skin laxity and precancerous spots are among the most common findings of the aging chest.
Many treatment options exist to rejuvenate the decollete. To address skin damage, sun spots, and precancerous spots, laser and light procedures including IPL photofacials and photodynamic therapy (PDT) can reduce brown pigmentation, enhance collagen growth, and remove precancerous spots called actinic keratoses (AKs).
To address wrinkles, skin laxity, or lost volume, several other treatment options exist. Ultherapy, a non-invasive ultrasound skin tightening device can lift sagging tissues on the chest and improve lines and wrinkles. Laser resurfacing with a fractionated CO 2 device called ECO2 can improve skin texture and build collagen. Finally, Sculptra, an injectable filler that stimulates new collagen growth, can be used to thicken the skin, and improve the scaffold of the decollete region. Sculptra greatly improves the vertical wrinkles on the midline chest often appearing from side sleeping or aging of the chest.
